Gree currently has no plans to replace copper with aluminum

Gree Electric stated on the interactive platform that copper is the core raw material of air conditioning, accounting for about 20% of the cost of air conditioning. Although the cost of aluminum is about 1/10 of that of copper (1/3 of the price and 1/3 of the density) under the same conditions, there are significant differences in parameters such as melting point, thermal conductivity, resistivity, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability. In situations where performance, quality, and reliability cannot be fully guaranteed, the company currently has no plans to replace copper with aluminum.
