London copper inventory rises to new high in a month and a half, Shanghai copper inventory hits lowest level in nearly seven months

According to data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME), the overall inventory of London copper continued to accumulate last week, with the latest inventory level reaching 128475 tons, reaching a new high in a month and a half.

The latest data released by the Shanghai Futures Exchange shows that copper inventories in Shanghai fell slightly during the week of July 25th, with weekly inventories decreasing by 13.17% to 73423 tons, reaching a new low in nearly seven months. International copper inventory remains stable at 11616 tons.

Last week, copper inventories in New York continued to accumulate, with the latest inventory level reaching 248635 tons, reaching a new seven-year high.

Note: Generally speaking, the continuous decline in inventory on domestic and foreign exchanges will provide support for futures prices, while the opposite will have a negative impact on futures prices.
